Wendy Eisenberg – Wweenddyy Eeiisseennbbeerrgg

The almighty Wendy Eisenberg grabs two of the finest tracks from her recent self-titled album and pulls ‘em like a Stretch Armstrong she found in a box in the attic, elongating them to the exact point of elasticity. We’re constantly told that no one has any attention span these days but then something like this comes along and reminds us that time is relative and maybe doesn’t even exist anyway.

Also… I don’t want to get bogged down with useless trivia but I feel it’s important to point out that the bassist on this EP was Trevor Dunn from Mr Bungle. At a recent Los Thuthanaka gig I was stood next to a guy with a Mr Bungle t-shirt on and after a long chat we both decided that the band was greatly overlooked and should be listened to by all.
