From 2014 to 2020, Jake Frost worked as a bike messenger in Boston, riding through the seasons to deliver parcels across the city.
He carried a point-and-shoot camera with him the whole time, capturing life as a courier and the culture around it, from fellow messengers and the places they’d meet to the kind of sights and scenes you only spot after endless hours cycling the streets.
Little Options collects some of those photos together, showing the reality of this crucial but often-overlooked occupation on colour 35mm film.
The book also features a short interview with Jake about his photos and his time as a messenger.
